Any pointers on how I can access my UHD3000 through my network?

With any firmware later than 6.0.35 installed turn Samba on at Settings - Network - Samba Server.

I'd recommend the latest firmware as it has more Samba options.

I have eventually got it working, it was a long hard process, all is good now  :)
