Given that there is no beta firmware for Dune HD Pro 4k Plus II for two months, can we buyers of this device believe that Dune gave up on the new product after only two months and thus deceived all customers who did not get a functional device and will not get either support for it?

I expect Dune to release firmware for Plus II in line with Vision 4K Solo.
1619 and 1619DR are very similar chipsets so development will continue for both.

I think Dune Dropped us like a bad habit. They already have an "upgraded" version Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo which has had 3 firmware updates and ZERO for us. Considering that the media player (for me) fails to play Blu-ray folders correctly and the Audio/Video "hiccups for me" when it changes files, chapters... making it unwatchable... This needs to be FIXED! I used to have a zidoo Z10 and I upgraded this and it fails where my old player never did.... ugh. Very Disappointed. I have contacted Dune and I am waiting to hear back...

I swapped the ZIDOO Z10 for DUNE HD 4K PLUS II and I'm very disappointed. 1. Does not support WD GOLD 14TB (it worked properly with ZIDOO Z10 - only allows exFAT file system, but losses of data occurs)
2. It hangs on the BD ISO menu
3. Very loud fan speed not regulated
4. Too bright display (even on the 5th dimming threshold)
5. Lack of any support in the form of firmware updates for six months ....
It seems that the manufacturer actually abandoned this model.

That one should work just fine with GPT+NTFS

BD Menu handling is very good with Dune using recent FW. Very few problem BD's around.

Yes that is a limitation.

I love that really big display. Best around

Last one is very recent, but yes is an Alpha in name but a good FW update otherwise.

No they did not. Even the generation before yours got all updates synchronised.
Please specify the BD's not working. Will validate first and put them on my list. Scott Pelgrim does not work I know but is the exception. Also some nasty Lionsgate protected discs may cause problems.
