Zidoo UHD3000 vs Dune HD Max Vision 4K

how can I know which device is better?
in sound and image?
i do not find any serious sites that test this media player

devices are not cheap

Max Vision 4K doesn't exist yet so hard to tell.

When it does, and a few customers have it, we welcome feedback to answer this question.

The uhd3000 would be better on the audiophile part according to some people.

See Nice Monkey's opinion on the zidoo forum based on the spec/description of the devices

On the video, if there were to be a difference, it would surely be minimal.

And in terms of price I find that the difference between the two makes sense.

What I can find in specifications: it includes a AKM AK4493EQ DAC chip. Nothing against that DAC despite not being the most recent generation as some may even prefer AKM above SABRE.

The DAC panel uses the Comtrue CT7601PR asynchronous converter, which allows to send a DSD stream not transformed into PCM, which, in turn the DAC decodes natively. This unlike Zidoo X20 PRO using IIS directly not facilitating DSD for SACD. Regarding overall DAC panel design it is close to that one.
Zidoo UHD2000 and Zidoo UHD3000 use the superior XMOS interfacing.
Dune Ultra and Zidoo Neo X use top quality components, even more precise clocking, balanced analog outputs and the ES9038Pro chip as the basis.

The fan probably makes less noise being bigger and better quality. It also has a full graphical display capable of showing 3x 32 characters. This is adequate for file navigation too next to title display.

Have anyone experience with Dune HD Max Vison 4K. Which one would give a better picture quality for movies? Looking for better contrast and black levels. Or recommend between the 2 players. UHD3000 or Dune HD Max vision 4K.

Dune shifted production from using AKM AK4493EQ to Sabre DAC's ES9038m2q for this model recently it seems.
May have something to do with the new Dune HD Ultra Vision 4K using the ES9038Pro or just the shortage on chips?

Some will like that and for sure they use the newest generation now.
Personally I value the latest AKM AK4499EQ even higher but that one is more expensive.

The new Dune HD Ultra Vision 4K has far better specifications even above UHD3000 but has a matching high price tag attached. Zidoo Neo X is expected to again beat that one?

I appreciate the performance of AKM AK4499EQ after 3 years of use.
