Title: Screen resolution drop outs
Post by: Chairman on December 01, 2020, 05:15:48 AM
I was under the impression that it was best to set the screen resolution to 1080p 60 in Android and let your TV use its engine for up scaling (I have a Panasonic GZ1000U) however if I set Android to 1080p 60 and watch a movie the screen periodically turns black and the resolution reappears on the TV. The only way it doesn't do that is if I have Android set to 2160p 60.

Is this something to do with the auto framerate patch that is posted on this forum, do I need to install it? Sometimes the screen resolution just changes of its own accord too, i.e I set it to 2160p 60 and the drop outs start happening and when I go into the screen resolution settings it has changed back to 1080p 60.
