Title: kody EAC3 audio

With kody every movie with EAC3 audio, has no audio.
E-AC3 is enabled in kodi
How should I configure kody ?
Use firmware 1.2.4 (pcristi)

EAC3 passthrough not supported, try disable EAC3 and enable AC3 transcode.

To enable AC3 transcoding I have to change the number of speakers in Kodi to 2.0 (previously 5.1)
My question is why? What is the "number of channels" option in Kodi actually for?

A long story can read on Kodi forum start here (https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=289735), then search for Sony/Philips/Fire TV/Nvidia Shield(2019) and ending on Nvidia Shield(2015/2017) dedicated topic from Android Kodi forum sections (https://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=164).
A short once  that Kodi developer implement as hack/workaround/fixed for what they like name Android standard API witch almost not one SoC rely use.
Kodi 19 will make little easy life as they put almost everything inside and they claim not more Kodi shitty/forceraw/firestick build will need.
