These reaktek-based Dune HD models lack the audio synchronization/lipsync feature of sigma designs based models, which was behind the red A button.
I just noticed it on the dune website:
“A (Red): Switch to the sound synchronization adjustment mode, display information on current setting. (NOTE: This function is available only in Sigma Designs models.)”
Just got me a Dune HD Pro 4K II, and was wondering why the red A button wasn’t working...
:’-((((
I plan to connect s/pdif to my surround receiver, which does not have an audio delay feature, and now I fear the prospect of being forced to accept asynchronous audio/video from now on :-(
1) Apparently this is a functional difference between sigma designs and realtek. Although it seems quite fundamental, does Dune have plans to restore this feature for realtek based models?
2) Is there any workaround?

Hello,
Thanks for your feedback!
1, 2. Yes, this function is currently not available on Pro 4K II.
It is planned to add it in a future firmware update.

I have Dune HD PRO 4K Plus.
In none of the firmwares the feature for audio sync is not available.
Do you have plans to introduce it?
Thank you.

Is it true that the lipsync settings of the Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo have to be reset with every movie? Is it not possible to set it to a fixed value? So that the media player remembers it.
