Title: Stick with Android 5 1.1.0
Post by: nmou88 on May 06, 2020, 12:07:14 AM
I wanted to know if there is a huge difference between 1.1.0 and 2.1.4 firmware, apart from Android 7 benefits ?

I mean, for example : the video decoding process is the same, isn't it ?
I'm saying this because I already can play 4k Bluray's smoothly without any sort of issue and I had much bugs with later versions

So please, someone tell me if I'm losing really much by staying on this most stable version

The latest versions are stable, I don't think you lose anything by upgrading. You can always go back if you don't like it, but you won't.

the firmware has come a long way since the old 5.1.1 release.  Custom firmware is even more improved  ;D
