Good morning.
After restoring firmware to 2.1.4, in the "Mediacenter> LAN> AutoSearch" section, the network search does not detect the shared folders of the Home PC and I get the message "no server".
The network settings are correct, because with the Kodi interface I detect all the shared folders of the Home PC.
On other HiMedia Q10 pro, connected in another room, always in the "LAN> AutoSearch" section, the shared folders are all detected without problems.
How can I solve it?
Thanks.

I have this same issue. I can see the Media Player from my PC but I cannot access the PC from the MediaCenter no matter what I do. I have no idea why or how to fix it. I asked about it before but got no answers so hopefully someone can help now.
At one point it found my home PC folders and asked for the username and password which i provided but the player just froze and i had to reboot. Cannot access my PC via MediaCenter or Kodi. When I try in Kodi, I get a no route to host error and when i try to add sources and do a search nothing comes up.

Through Kodi I can access the network folders, the problem is only with the media center.

How did you access through Kodi? I used to be able to go to the add source option then do a search for my folders but now they don't show up. No idea why not. I still have the old shortcut in my video sources when it used to work a few months ago but now it just says No Route To Host and I can't add the folders at all.

Check first if the problem does not depend on the operating system of the server PC

I tried to reset and reinstall FW 2.1.4 again, identical problem.
I don't know how to solve.
If it weren't for Kodi, which works without problems, it would be useless as a network player with the mediacenter that detects nothing.

Thanks, I did see that before and I do have the Samba 1.0 checked off. I can access the box from the PC, I can access my PC from every other device I have, but I cannot access the PC from the box either in MediaCenter or in Kodi.

The only thing I can do is to downgrade it too. fw 2.0.4 to check if it works, and then update back to fw 2.1.4. I don't know what else to do, if not replace it with another model other than HiMedia.

This morning I turned the HiMedia back on to perform the downgrade-upgrade procedure, and with surprise I verified that the Mediacenter detects the shared network folders, I don't understand anything anymore I'm confused.
The only reasoning I can do is that the Androind box is not stable, if the problem can be generated or solved only by turning the box on and off several times, yesterday I had turned it off but the problem was not solved.

I turn my box off every night and every day I retry to connect to my PC but no luck. I have no idea how to fix this.
