Title: System crash with hardware reset
Post by: giorgiogira on January 18, 2020, 03:15:25 PM
It happened to me 5 times that the system rebooted.
Once rebooted it had a kind of hardware reset, with some apps not working anymore
(for example kodi and explorer); see attached images.
The version used is: HMD-2.1.4 2019-05-30 (Crispi).
Can anyone give me some advice?
Thank's

Do you think it's possible you ran out of storage space? Reinstall the firmware with the reset button method, if it happens again try another power supply.

I had already replaced the power supply with a 5A one.

I realized that the problem is when I create my video library with scraping process.
Could all the downloaded images be creating this problem?

If you ran out of free internal storage space then yes

Kodi can push up memory space requirements slowly until it just runs out....
Best solution is to place a 32Gb SD Card in the slot and use for "expanded memory" in Settings.  Remember to fully back-up Kodi first, as the system is wiped during this process.  The card cannot be removed without re-formatting internal memory.
