So just this past week, I have been unable to transfer shares from my PC to my Q10 because it says not enough space despite having a few hundred GB available.
I can access the folders and files under the Q10 and transfer them from the device to my PC with no problem. I can see them from the Q10 and stream them from the PC with no issue but I can't transfer any files over to the device.
Any thoughts? I was able to do this last week but now I cannot. I didn't update or change anything as far as I know.

I am currently having the same issue but I believe mine is because I am using a 8tb drive and the box will only use 4tb of the 8tb drive. But I have also had this issue before. The way I fixed it before was attaching it to a PC and doing disk cleanup on the drive. I believe it has a issue of sometimes not deleting stuff properly that you deleted on the remote drive. As when I normally connect it to my PC there are a ton of files that aren't fully deleted.

This didn't work. I hooked up the drive to my PC and was able to transfer files back and forth with no issue. I did a disk cleanup and drive optimization as well. I also have 8 TB drive but all 8 TB show up on the box. I have about 350GB free space available and I am trying to transfer files that are less than 3GB each. Every time it tells me I need from 1-3GB more free space. Makes zero sense.
I can transfer them from the PC using ES Explorer on the box but I cannot transfer that same exact file from my PC to the box using windows explorer but I could last week with no issues. This is really frustrating.
I have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it.

Thanks, that seems a little too technical for me. It looks like Joker may have provided easier to understand instructions than the OP but his posts are blank when I look at them.
I appreciate the response but I don't know how to map a drive or use the command prompt really so I basically need instructions for dummies.
I just don't understand why this is happening to me now. Seems like that thread was from months ago but I was able to transfer just last week. No updates were done as far as I know.

Ok, after some Googling, I mapped the folder on the drive to Z and I can now transfer via Windows Explorer and the mapped Z drive shows the correct size and free space.
I do notice the transfer is MUCH slower than before when it was just unmapped over the network. Is that normal?
Thanks again for the help!

I have the same problem.
After hard reset AND format of HDD it can't accept files larger than 945MB !!!
Network Mapping as a drive WORKS as a solution, but how can I solve it for good ?
Should I test an older windows PC or should I connect to USB and do disk cleanup?

What you mean by "hard reset"? If you did a factory reset on the Box, than the best to do is a full "paperclip" reinstall of the firmware.
Also, connecting to a Windows PC and doing a chkdsk /f on the HDD won't hurt and could solve various drive issues.
