Try to delete all partitions, create a new GTP partition and quick format it in NTFS.
Which firmware version is installed in the box?

Oh okay will try to do that tonight after work.  I believe I am running the latest custom 2.1.4.  Thanks STL.

Sorry, it's GPT. Here's a guide:
https://docs.microsoft.com/pt-pt/windows-server/storage/disk-management/change-an-mbr-disk-into-a-gpt-disk.

Try to do that with the box connected to the PC with a printer cable (connector in the back)

Do you hear the drive spin? Make sure the connector is fully inserted in the hard drive.

Yes the drive was spinned. Specially the Hitachi drive, there is noise during spin.

Officially only 6TB drives are supported but there are reported cases of larger hard drives installed. I think the hard drive should always be accessible to windows with the usb cable... Try another PSU if you can.

I plugged in a WD 10TB hard disk to the built-in sata port,
and when I go to root \ mnt \ media-rw I can see that it is detected.
After installing the hard disk, it is not visible in Explorer, but it is found in the root \ mnt \ media-rw path.
[PATCH] Mount storage by UUID / Label is installed.
Both the built-in sata port and the usb port are not immediately visible in the explorer, but that path is ok.

I use ES Explorer and never had an issue seeing my HDD. Also, as long as it shows in Kodi, it's fine. But does it show under storage in settings?
