Hello,
i had q10 pro and never had problems with my internal HD WD 6TB

Last time i decided to dismount it and connected via usb to my laptop and transfer some of my new on it
mounted inside again Himedia i went to Kodi into video/file/Hd and to see the list of movies it takes more than 40 seconds, and these is never happened.
Anyway i tried to update new movies in the library, but it started and after a while no update. If i play movie no problems ;)
I tried also to connect via usb to Himedia, but nothing change.
I sow also that if i go to system/file manager/ ad after to drive, it show me immediately the files inside.
same if i go on Himedia File manager app, it show me in 1 seconds all files as if i connect the HD to computer.
i made also chkdsk and used other programs to check the disk, but everything seems ok.
What should i do to resolve this problems?
could be some files inside that make kodi to work longer to recognize the new files?
I have the latest official Kodi version and the himedia firmware android and kernel version

What kind of files did you copied? Do you have any files or folders with special characters on the name or very long names?

you are right... thank you so much!
files are mkv and iso... but maybe longer name or maybe special character... i made shorter and boom... now is working properly....
Hi also delete 2 folders of Tv series..

i really really appreciate your help also to much faster

there was also a file inside the folder of BMDV movie that crush the Kodi scanning movies and interrupt the process and this folder was the first of the list of 300 hundred files   :-[

i'm off topic but another thing that i tried to do is to see in Kodi the BD menu, but seems that need Java runtime enviroment library, but i don't know how to install it and where i can download.
have i to install from Himedia like an app, or from Kodi repository, or download from internet?
really confused
