Title: Disappearing files.

Can anyone suggest what is causing this?
I frequently have an issue whereby, when attempting to download files, they will appear in the relevant downloads folder (app specific) but when I return to the folder to move them they have disappeared and no amount of searching can locate them.

Well this depends, You dont mention which app or apps that are doing this, But it is real common with many apps for example ApkTime, You download an apk and once you close the app the downloaded file gets automatically deleted, To test this try downloading again and instead of closing the app hit the home button then navigate to the corresponding folder you expect it to be in, If it is still there then you will know this is whats happening.

That is basically what I do. Start the download within the app, home, navigate to the apps download folder to confirm it has started then leave alone until it should be finished. When I return to the folder there is nothing there.

What app are you downloading with, I would like to try and duplicate the problem on my end ?
