Does it not update itself?
Mine updated only going to the Play Store and doing it by a manual request.

It should update itself if installed through Play Store.

It's very simple. Just download the app and run it whilst on the same local network as Zidoo box. The app will find the Zidoo box and from there the options are clearly labelled.
