Hi!
I've followed all the instructions, and reverted my box to FW 1.1.0.
Most things work fine, but IPTV Channels, when trying to run from the TV menu (as channels, and not as shortcuts). are run using the wrapper and therefore crashes immediately.
I've tried looking for settings in the add-on as well as in the IPTV Simple Client to change the player from Himedia Wrapper to internal DVDPLAYER, but no luck.
This was not an issue with a 2.x.x firmware (Android 7).
Does anyone know how to correct this? my guess would be some editing of "playercorefactory.xml" - but I have no idea what and where to change.
I hope someone can help.
Thanks!

Update to Android 7 and Kodi 18.2

Yeah, that solves this issue, but at the price of more serious other issues. so, no thanks.
Any other ideas?

Strange, I have the CFW 2.1.1 with Kodi 18.2 and have no issues, it is working fine here!

What other issues :o ???? I have Android 7 , FW HMD-2.1.1 and Kodi 18.2 on my HiMedia Q10 Pro and the system is now working better than it's ever been 8)!

I was on firmware 2.1.2, but had similar issues in 2.1.1 : kodi crashes while the wrapper is working, and the system seems to respond slower than previously. like the new kodi is running heavier on it.

Yes , we all experienced it, but that problem now appears to be solved with 2.1.2???
I use this wrapper instead of the HiMedia one: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hu.xmister.xbmcwrapper

Thanks, but that's not a solution for me, as I'm not interested in paying for another wrapper, nor rooting the box for it. I also noticed that when I root the box, my library scan gets stuck in kodi.
