Title: How to play MK3D file on q5pro ?

I have a MK3D file , but when i play it on kodi , it doesnt have 3d option , nor ask me to switch to 3d .. it plays as 2d.. what should i do ?

MK3D as any other real 3D formats in mkv containers are not supported. You need the 3D BD ISO version or you can convert the mk3d file into 3D BD ISO using TsMuxer. Than playback using the Wrapper, as KODI player itself either doesn't support any 3D.

Thanks .. I read somewhere that simply changing the filename to correspond to the 3d format will help kodi recognize the file and play , will it work ?

tried to load into tsmuxer , it doesnt recognize the file extension.. cant read it.

Egreat, Zidoo playing well MK3D made with MakeMKV with builtin player.
HiMedia add initial support for that format on CN FW v.2.1.2 but I didn't get working on internationals box.
Waiting to next official firmware release for international models to see what will be.

Kodi doesn't play MK3D files on 3D format will output as 2D.

eac3to movie_file.mk3d -demux -keepdialnorm
tsMuxeR_2.6.12 + tsMuxerGUI mux as ISO.
