I used to copy files from SD to HDD without any issues.
Since the last FW 2.1.1 I got error "no more capacity to store things" when using file manager and when trying to copy files bigger than 2GB.
I am 1000% sure that HDD has plenty of space, but yet Q10 pro is not allowing me to copy anything, very frustrating...
Removing HDD and connecting to PC is a workaround, but this is not the case here, as it used to work before, no it does not, where is the issue?
Thanks

Have you tried it using Es File Explorer ?

Android uses a base of Linux and sometimes the system does not seem to know about deleted/moved files etc. and reports them incorrectly to the OS.
Try another file manager, as suggested, or perhaps try to move files via a networked PC?
The simplest method is not to remove the HDD, but to plug the back USB 3.0 port HiMedia unit into your PC. This then acts like any external HDD and files can be quickly moved around.

What's the hdd file system, Fat32 or NTFS?

So this seams like that the "wrong free space reported" bug is still present on 2.1.1.
The workaround I know, is to connect the Box via USB OTG to a Win PC and run a chkdsk /f on the HDD (or let Windows do it, when offers a disk check after connecting) and you will get back the lost free space.
It seems that at every occasion you delete files with some of the apps installed on the Box, it fails to do it properly, and the occupied space remains.
I doubt that there would be any Android app that would do it properly (at least not on HiMedai Boxes)

NTFS of course

After connecting via USB to PC, disk checked and fixed. Now it is back to normal, thank you.
