Title: New 4K TV and problems with framerate switching?
Post by: patee on March 23, 2019, 01:13:00 PM
Hi folks,
just 1st post, but been reading forum for a while now. So far very pleased with my Q5 Pro.

I just moved my Q5 Pro to a new 4K TV - Philips 65PUS8102. Q5 attached directly to TV (no amp at the moment).

The problem occurs when I exit movie which was in 4K resolution and has been played in 24 or 25 fps.
I got blank screen and TV show "no signal". When I press Return button several times it gets me to main menu, sometimes I have to switch it off and on again. Happens in KODI+wrapper also in Media Center.

Playback seem to be allright. HDR flag is displayed when starting a movie. TV shows 2160p24 (movie) or 2160p25 (during ex. Planet Earth II).
Not sure about color space though as I can't tell and check.

Settings on Q5 Pro:
- Display: 2160p/60Hz
- 24 Hz: ON
- HDMI Auto adaptation: OFF
- Video Color Space: YCbCr420 10bit.

What is the FW version?

And be sure HDCP 2.2 is turned OFF.
