Hi,
If i try to play a video in YouTube android TV app that's only available in 480p I get only sound and a black screen. Afterwards that happens to all videos until I restart the app. I have the latest version 2.05.03 but this also happened with the previous version.
Can anyone confirm this? Is it a firmware or youtube app bug?
Thanks

No problems here. I'm running YouTube for Android TV 2.05.03 perfectly on all resolutions up to 4K.
Try uninstalling your version, then download the apk file again from:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/youtube-for-android-tv-android-tv/youtube-for-android-tv-android-tv-2-05-03-release/
Make sure you use the armeabi-v7a version and then install.

Did you actually tried to play a video that it's MAX resolution is 480p?
I've tried to reinstall it and if I play a HD video at 480p it plays fine, the issue only uccurs in older videos that have the max resolution @480p.

Try this one. It's ten years old and plays at 640x480:

It plays for me.

Tried that and other videos and today they're all working, go figure...
I'll update if it happens again.
