So Kodi 18 sucks all kinds of ass. Nothing but problems. The main ones being every time I play a movie I get an error that Kodi has stopped working. Then whenever I finish watching a movie and hit the back button I'm booted all the way out of Kodi to the main menu. Plus my favorite skin isn't even supported!
Can someone please tell me how to go back to 17.6 and how to disable auto-updates so it doesn't happen again? I've rolled back firmwares before but never Kodi. I'm kind of a newb but need help on how to uninstall Kodi 18, how to sideload Kodi 17.6, and how to disable auto updating of Kodi. Is this where I get Kodi 17.6 for the Q10 Pro?

Thanks in advance!

Not to go too far OT but, would someone explain what/where the term "shitty" came from and what it's suppose to represent? One would logically figure it would be a version that you wouldn't want to try. :o

The "shitty" build reintroduces the Jarvis behaviour of sending PT audio. A sidenote: The so called PCM hack in Jarvis is even more dangerous as it is now in v17. As in Jarvis plain "zeros", e.g. packages with the packaging the receiver / AVR was not able to unpack properly, were sent. Therefore it's quite common in Jarvis that you get a second of noise on start and after stop by default.

Thank you for the instructions on how to disable auto updates Tom! I downloaded the shitty build you linked to and now have it on a USB stick and am going to try and figure out how to install it--I never installed anything on my box before but I think I can mange it haha. Thanks again!
