Official updates will be made available OTA (over the air). The box will notify you of the update and offer to install it. Alternatively, any firmware update can be downloaded to USB stick and installed through system menus. Settings - About - Update.
To downgrade firmware first do a full / emergency firmware reflash (see link at bottom of firmware section for each model) then update to desired firmware.

The Google Play apk needs reinstalling after new firmware install. Use latest version from OP in firmware thread on Zidoo site.

The Google Play apk needs reinstalling after new firmware install. Use latest version from OP in firmware thread on Zidoo site.
Shortly after my post I have figured it out that and reinstalled gapps and the fan speed turned back to normal. Thank you for your support :)

ive just done the latest update link from here for my z10 all went well it restarted but it's hanging at hello usb stick still in no signal on tv what should i do i dont want to brick it any advice will leave it untill i get some advice. thanks darren

That's very unusual. What firmware did you install exactly and by what method?

i followed the link from here installed via usb ,all went well the box checked the firmware i pressed ok to begin update it did take awhile with the andriod man then it rebooted but its stuck on the hello on box screen ,do i take the usb out before i turn the power off at the back and on again

Always try with and without using BD Menu's, but first impression is fix applies to both modes now.
First results looking very promising. It is pretty safe to install this one.
To play it safe first uninstall Google Play Store and GAPP's and re-install them after the upgrade.
