Hello everyone
I have a problem with my unit (Q10 Pro). From a longer time I have a problem with turning my Q10 Pro off. Everything else works well.
I do not use KODI o wrapper. Only watching movies by default player. As I wrote earlier there is no problem with watching movies, no crashing or frezzing pictures. Just when I want to turn it of by remote suddenly LCD (Himedia) panel stops counting. Nothing happen later. I must remove power cable to reset unit. I tried reset (hard-pin reset) many times....from firmware version 2.0.7 to 2.1.0. As I remember when I was on older firmwares it happened (problem with turning it off) very, very rarely.
Could somebody help me pls...
Warranty just has expired.
Sincerely
J.

This is also happening to me lately usually if I turn it off while watching a video on YouTube or Kodi.
Try to exit to the home screen before turning the box off.

I could not get my box to turn off at all on 2.1.1, I found if I went to Settings/Standby and changed it to Power on enter startup then pulled the power plug it would power down fine after that for me.....

Same here with FW 2.1.1. Will not power off sometimes. Need to unplug and plug the power cable.

Saltino, when you say fresh install a month ago and now again, are you saying it worked for a month and has just started to do it again?
If so, have you made any changes to the box since, ie: installed 3rd party software.
I ask the question because some software can cause strange anomalies on this box. When I first got mine, I installed Firefox not giving a second thought that it could cause an issue with the wrapper. From memory I had to run the video twice in Kodo, before the wrapper would start playing, uninstalling Firefox fixed the issue.
I am running FW 2.1.1 and have no issue with it shutting down, which is why I am wondering if it is something to do with installed software.
Has anybody tried a reset back to factory defaults and see if the problem still happens (without any other software installed on the box)?
If it works, you would have to start installing your apps back one by one and test to see when it fails to shut down.

Joker, I suppose that your have right explain this issue, for real debuggin it's need to reinstall apps back one by one and test it one to one in power off.
