Hello,
I have a new Q5 player with firmware HMD 3.0.2. How can I enable the automatic framerate detection?
I set my video options to 1080p60 an all movies (mkv) plays with these settings. When I go to Settings - Display and set 1080p24Hz to ON everything starts in 24p.
I want to use the auto detection and I also want to playback with 23,976 fps.
I tested with kodi and the integrated media player also.
What I am doing wrong? What did I missed?
Thanks for your help!
Regards,
Fabian

Settings - Display, 1080p24Hz ON will set the box to play 23.976 and 24p content as 23.976 or 24p. This will work with Himedia player (Media Center) or Kodi with wrapper.

Having the 24p setting activated shouldn't make any difference to the output being 720p or 1080p. Can you post mediainfo details for a files that triggers the player to switch to 720p?
Frame packing is the means by which MVC Blu-Ray 3D is compressed. It's not relevant to 2D.
