Title: "Content can not be read"
Post by: birop77 on December 08, 2018, 09:11:12 AM
I have tried to open a file (.mkv) copied from Google Drive to my Synology NAS. Q10 PRO failed to open it either by Kodi nor by MediaCenter. I could not open even the folder of the file. After clicking on the folder MediaCenter noted "NFS has stopped" or "Content can not be read". On my desktop PC I can open and play the same file without any issue. I have tried with other files copied from Google Drive and the result is the same: "Content can not be read" by either Kodi nor MediaCenter.

Please help me! Thanks, in advance!

Peter

Further info: I can browse the file with file explorers and play the file on my desktop PC with VLC player but KODI on the same desktop PC failed to play it. The folder of file is visible in KODI but when I click on nothing happens...

Well, the first thing I would try is playing the file locally on your PC with Kodi.

If that works, can you stream from PC to Himedia?
