Hi, can we disable the wrapper from any place?, or with old way: uninstall the wrapper:

1. Install ES File Explorer (free from play store) and change settings-display so you can view hidden files. Navigate to sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/. Delete the playercorefactory.xml file.

What is Happycast?

Thanks for the info!

2 things

- Can you please ask if himedia can add a "stop button" in the wrapper player gui? Theres no hard stop button on the remote, but it there was one in the player gui, it would be veryyyyyyy nice
now we have to press return, and i think thats causing no watched flag icon in kodi

- Kodi watched flag doesnt always work, for ex when watching tvshow episode 1 after that episode 2 auto starts , i keep looking, at the end, i press "back" on remote, i get no flag, not at episode 1 and not at episode 2

Wrapper can only be uninstalled the old way.

Happycast is a Miracast app.

That's real, if i pause a movie, kodi say playing even is in the credits, the only way is center button and stop, then it got the watched icon, i don't know why there is no stop button on the remote.
Thanks

i think is better have action 2 time back button to stop playback( not once like now), like :
when playback movie
1) first press back button show message "press again to stop " or "press again to exit"
2) second press back button now stop playback

- after 10 second must be repeated
- message it's show only one time every boot up.

A simple stop button in player gui would be nice, like any normal player.
Not pressing two times back.
Or perhaps both

or maybe nice to be have a Android OS setting menu with:
1)
- enable double back to exit [V] <- checkbox default enable
- enable button for stop []  <- checkbox
  choose button [ 0 ]  <- drop list  0 to 6
2)
and  stop button in player gui

This has been noted in the M3 firmware thread and Himedia have been informed. There will be an option to enable/disable it in future firmware.

HI,
I suggest, to avoid mistakes , renameing the firmware file from 6-nov-2015 ecc ecc to 20-nov-2015 ecc.ecc.

That is what we did until 3.0.2.

6-NOV is the internal build date. Himedia are now publishing updates on their own site using build date numbering so we decided to change our system so the dates match theirs. Overall the new system should reduce confusion.

sorry for silly question,
but the file in the first post is namend Q10 4K3D. 6-NOV-2015. FIRMWARE HMD-3.0.2 FUTEKO-EN
why not Q10 4K3D. 20-NOV-2015. FIRMWARE HMD-3.0.2 FUTEKO-EN

anyway Can I update my Q10 just arrived, with the firmware posted in the first post?

update: mine is arrived just today (ordered saturday the past) and come with 3.0.2 just installed (is this one the right one, or I have to reinstall the 20 nove release?)

You have the latest firmware.

We answered the question about firmware date in the post above. We are now dating our firmware packages according to the internal build number. This makes our system the same as Himedia's and reduces confusion where identical firmwares have different dates (ours and Himedia's).

Not sure what happened exactly, but it looks like Kodi setup got corrupted.

It's best to disable automatic update for Kodi on Q10. You'll lose wrapper after update.

From firmware 1.0.9 I would advise updating to 3.0.2 (thread at top of this forum), it has Kodi 15.2. If you want Kodi 16 beta install it straight after update and before installing wrapper. Kodi 16 will work fine with wrapper but best to install wrapper on clean install.

To backup Kodi settings use this: http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Backup

By default Play Store is set to auto-update on wifi only. So either after turning wifi off, or from a new install before setting up wifi, go Play Store - Settings - Auto-update apps, and disable auto-updating.

You should still be able to turn updates off in Play Store with no internet connection.

Launch Play Store and at the top right will be a settings icon. Choose Settings then Auto update apps.

Coming from the old 900b player on original firmware. Could someone explain to me why there is no zoom option like the 900b player. Where you could play a 2:35 aspect ratio and hit zoom and it would keep the aspect ratio but fill the screen? This has been removed? This is great for 3D to fill my 90 inch LED.

Also, why is there no way to turn subtitles off permanently? Even under close, they still pop up?

In addition, why does my player say it has the current firmware at 3.0.1?

Finally, with my 3tb internal filled with 3D iso's that don't play in Kodi only under LAN. Explain to me why I am getting video clipping on 3D iso's? Everything works perfect in my 5 year old 900b, but the only reason I upgraded was for Android, and the addition of better streaming with cat6e for HD 24bit audio codecs.

I answered the zoom question in the thread you created for it.

I answered the 3TB HDD and 3D question in the thread you created for them.

There is no need to post the same question multiple times.

The subtitles setting should stick in firmware 3.0.2.

Your player says firmware is 3.0.1 because that must be the firmware installed on it. The latest firmware version is HMD-3.0.2 2015-11-06.095342.

We've installed 3.0.2 on all Q10 sold in the past couple of weeks so I'm guessing you didn't buy it from us? I suggest installing 3.0.2 from this thread. Use reset button method.

Hello Futeko,

HIMEDIA internal storage is limited in size and therefore I would like to know how to install all applications on the external SD card.
How to move the new aplications like Kodi on Sd card because a lot of space and saturates the internal memory. Thanks for your help.
