Title: Boot/power problem.

So this morning when I tried to power up my q10, on the box it says booting but no source is appearing on my t.v. screen. I thought maybe my hdmi cable was faulty but when connected to the Xbox it was ok. Tried turning the box off for an hour but it still says booting and signal seems to be going to screen.  Last night there was a power outage caused by thunder but I don't think this should have caused a problem as it's connected to a surge protected extension. The power light remains white when the message has booting.
Any help would be appreciated.

I saw a video on YouTube with someone who had the same problem.  He thinks it might be the power supply.

I live in Florida the lightning capitol of the US, When I first moved here I was loosing electronics like loose change, Never again everything I own that's worth a damn is on a UPS battery backup
