Title: q10 pro video ratio
Post by: tonio08 on October 16, 2018, 12:54:29 PM
Hello,

since the firmware 2.0.9, the image ratio with the wrapper is wrong. There is no longer black band above and below the image. The image is stretched. This is the same with the firmware 2.1.0
The ratio is ok with kodi player.

Thanks for your answer.

You can set the aspect ratio in the Settings->Playback menu, or from the HiMedai Player menu during playback.

Yes of course but, very few choices are allowed.

There are the Keep Ratio and Full Screen settings. What you need is to set to Keep Ratio. Or id doesn't work?

This is what OPPO has:

1) Original
2) Stretch
3) Full
4) Uscan
5) Zoom 1.2x
6) Zoom 1.3x
7) Zoom 1.5x
8) Zoom 2x
9)Zoom 1/2x

And all TV sets have more than Q10 Pro.

Yeah, and on a HTPC with MPCHC you will even have more (almost: endless) settings for this. So we can conjugate this for a while... ;D

With a 75 inches TV is "irritating" to lose millions of pixels due to black bands!!!

Not as irritating as watching a movie or show in the wrong aspect ratio.

I agree.
