2 Usually is not active on HiMedia site, not once care about this, update from Settings/Upgrade/Local Upgrade/ is doing a same like OTA.
4 I don't see it witch Kodi version did you use?
5 All most of as use Wrapper, so watched information is not fulfilled, if you use Kodi with VideoPlayer you need to report problems on Kodi forum not here.
