When set to "Audio Passthrough" often also referenced to as HDMI RAW then the audio signal should be untouched and volume control should not work at all. This to get the best signal quality to your AMP where volume control should be done.

hi Nice Monkey, But it is not normal, the volume level return to 100% after closing the video, right?

@daksider
What is firmware version on your Egreat A5?
Use AVR/TV command(remote) to manage volume control and keep Android volume set 100%.
Please don't post over all forum, you get explanation why on Egreat forum.

Hi pcristi, the firmware is 1.2.9.5 beta, but I have tested other firmwares before and the problem continues, the reason why I posted in Egreat forum is because I wanted to hear other opinions, sorry

The Egreat forum is the best place to post. This is kind of a bug (only in Vidon XBMC?) which Egreat / Vidon will need to fix. pcristi has explained more on Egreat forum.

I do not use Vidon XBMC, I see my videos in the internal player

@daksider
Egreat Player, VidonXBMC, XBMC, Kodi until v17, are base on PCM passthrough hack for Android.
This hack for passthrough is required Android volume to be set to 100% to void get audio noise.
Egreat Player and VidonXBMC set Android to 100% when Passthrough is Auto/ON and connected audio system support passthrough.
If you still don't understand why Android volume must be set to 100% search "kodi shitty build" on google, install Kodi shitty build on player, set audio passthrough, set AVR/TV volume to small level not to get some damage. play a video, then change Android volume.
If your audio system not support passthrough or what to test it set Passthrough OFF and Android volume will be preserved.
