Title: BD structure (titles) not playing correctly
Post by: Mount81 on August 18, 2018, 02:57:18 PM
Hello!

So the issue in brief: Whether I try to play a BD .iso or a BD folder (either  with Wrapper or directly from Media Center) and no matter if the Playback is set to "Full Circle" or "Order of Play" in the HiMedia Player BD Lite menu, after the first tile is through it won't switch to the next title (or any title) on the BD video structure, instead it quits from the Player (Showing the "Video Player Stopped" pop-up), or just plays the next video or BD from the same folder on the HDD share, but never the following Title on the same BD that was started originally, as it should normally.

I'm on fw 2.0.6. And it's sure to say that this can be considered as a mayor bug in the HiMedia Player app.

Are you using the BD-Iso Menu patch?  I've only tried a few movies and they mainly load up and work as intended.
One .iso (a BD test disk with many samples) only worked with the Lite menu and did not load the full menu correctly.

No, and never have used the BD menu patch, as it's rather makes it worst, as it doesn't allow the HiMEdia Player to switch from 60Hz to the proper playback frequency. Makes the whole purpose of having a cadence perfect media player totally lost. But that's another problem.

Just start a title from the playlist, forward it to the end, and see that it doesn't start the next title from the currently played BD's playlist, rather quits or skips to the next video or BD in the folder on the HDD.  That is the reason of my complain.

Any response to this by Futeko? Or those firmware bug fix request reports can be now just "words shouted out in space" and accounted as a totally waste of time, that may explain the passivity that can be registered as a sign of some "honesty" of un-pretense?
