Post by: rallychief on August 04, 2018, 02:44:40 PM
Hi every body apologies if this has been covered can't see it, i have a q10 on android 7 , i have a 6tb drive fitted internally, this is now full, i have bought a seagate 4tb backup +, have formatted it NTFS GPT, named it local disk (D:)put some data on it cannot get it to work, eventually found it in settings storage, said it was corrupt and needed formatting, back on the win 10 computer its fine, took the data off it, then formatted on q 10 as per q10 message, still no joy in Kodi- files it is listed along with internal drive, but clicking on it, dosen't open it, i have SDA2 which is internal drive, and SDB2 listed

Does the external hard drive have it's own power supply? If not try using a powered USB hub.

It should work... Try this, in the PC delete all disk partitions, create a new one and format it.
