HDMI in will be enabled in a future firmware.

Exactly when I am trying to find out and will report back here.

A correction to my previous reply, Zidoo say:

"X20 and x20pro do not support record. This is an illegal funcation which we have delete from these two models."

Unable to see how recording my own camcorder movies is illegal.
It does not seem illegal for the record to be fitted to x9s and x10

As long it is not used to record any HDCP protected input it should not be illegal. That includes a camcorder.
It surprises me that it is removed from the functionality?

The APP included with X9S/X10 can't be re-used on X20?

No, it doesn't work. Must be change in 1296 vs 1295 chipset.

In the absence of a public statement on this direct from Zidoo I think it is possible HDMI in may be enabled in future firmware. I just quoted the reply they gave me.
