Title: BOOT PROBLEM
Post by: parthi4k on July 15, 2018, 06:01:33 PM
I have q10pro android 7 and cs firmware HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159 .I use this firmware for past 6 months,no problem. But now, when I switch on(switch mains ON ie..not in remote) the box,all the lights(white and red) before the box  are "ON" for 2-3 sec and no boot.At that time no function in remote. Then I power off the box .The same problem for several times, and one time it got boot and displays the home screen. If I play videos, all lights in front display are "on" for sometime and get restarts, and sometimes screen become BLACK.I then
1.Factory reset - same problem
2. reinstall the same firmware(HMD-2.0.4 2017-07-05.174159) - same problem
3.the I install HMD-2.0.8 2018-04-03.195232 - same problem and
4 downgrade to HMD-2.0.3 2017-04-12.095905 no way same problem.................

What I have to do........please anybody help me.....please "pcristi" help me

I advise you to install 2.0 - > 2.03 - > 2.04 - > 2.08 using the restore button method.

Try another power supply.
Do have any peripheral attached, internal hard drive, external usb, sd card etc? If you do try to boot without it.

I have two doubts
1.Power ON q10pro box which lights should "on" in front of display ie..only red should "on" or all lights -white and red will "on" or all lights will "on" and after 2 sec white will gets off and red will be alone "on"

2.While installing any firmware by using pen drive,it should be formatted by FAT32.But I always format by NTFS(now only I noticed). Is this may cause BOOT problem??? as discuss above forum.

Anyboby help me................plz

After power on, red light should become white, white circle in the middle and clock should turn on.

It should work with NTFS. Are you sure the update finishes when you try to do it?

Sorry!!!!!! power on means "MAIN SWITCH ON" ,NOT IN REMOTE.
If mains on then,my doubt is
1.for first 2 sec all lights should "on" after that white gets off,red alone should "on"   or
2.only red light should "on",no white light "on"

Just tried, it's option 1. Are you sure your not just restoring the box software instead of installing new firmware?

Previously ,ie before this problem arise,if I mains ON,all the lights will come and go within a fraction of second and only red will ON,but now all white  hold for even 5 sec...and after while playback also all lights ON for 5 sec and box restarts.

Hello futeko,pcristi,all guys

I used that power supply but nothing happen, the same problem arise....
I upload the images that I suffer....I upload 4 images.
If I mains ON all lights are ON(white and red) and stable for "5 sec"                                  -----1st image(Mains on)
After 5 sec, it show only red light ON                                                                                           -----2nd image(Image 1)
If I press power button in remote, center white light on and red changed to white     ------3rd image(Image 2)
Now it get boot and show Home screen. After some time(1 min),while playing video or simply in standby mode, all lights are ON(4th image-Image 4).Note that all the lights are white and ON for 3-4 sec.At that time(video play),in seeking bar fast forward is going fast till the end and the video switch to next file and there will be no function in remote. This will be repeat for 4-5 times(every 2 min interval),then after 15 min,the box will be normal throughout the day. After next day for first 15 min the same problem.

PLEASE HELP ME..........................

@parthi4k
Try:
- reinstall v2.0.3 with restore button to get all usefully partition rewritten .
- uncheck VFD clock on off(Settings/More/Display) to get VFD clock ON if need.

Do you have an airmouse/remote or any other devices plugged in some of the USB ports? If so, Try to detach them all and see if it may help.

Otherwise, have you ever tried it with an OFW (and not CFW) installed? That would be my second suggestion.

Problem Solved Finally......
Our climate is very cool for past 30 days,so the problem.
I open the box(just top screws) and I noticed that there is some fungus formed.I keep the box in sunlight for 1 min and clean carefully by dry brush thoroughly. Then I put the screws and power ON.
Surprisingly, no problem.I test it for 3 days in all condition. No problem arise!!!!!!
I think this forum will help for future issue.

Thanks for all. :) :) :) :) :)
