Hi,
wondering how to roll back firmware.
I have tried the method in the 2.0.6 firmware page. I get the circle to show up on the screen but then about 1/3 of the way through I get a error and it just boots to the normal 2.0.8 front interface.
Hopefully I don't need to roll back to 5.1, then to 7.0, then to 2.0.6, but if so i'll do that.
Rolling back to try get 4k stuff to play smoothly over NFS. works with files up to 75mbps, but 85mps stutters badly.
cheers

Hi,
on what firmware are you? 2.0.8 custom or official?
To what kind of firmware you want to switch? custom official?
-
It should be possible to just install 2.0.6 over 2.0.8 using restore button method as described in our forum threads.
-
I also need to know how to install 2.0.6 on 2.0.8, emerged some problems after installing 2.0-8, if someone could explain how to make this process I appreciate

I got it using the local update method and it works fine

Im using 2.0.8 official firmware, trying to get to official 2.0.6
Happy to use any firmware that reliably plays high bitrate files. official or custom

If using the method described in the 2.0.6 thread http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=2526.0 then I am not having any luck. It gets to about a 1/3 complete and I get a error and it reboots back to 2.0.8

In unlucky case and after few consecutive try stack on droid fails as JohnnyBoyIsMe posted try format USB flash as NTFS inside of FAT32.
