Title: Dolby Atmos not working on some titles
Post by: Xtrips on June 16, 2018, 10:02:05 PM
Hello,

I noticed this problem while running 1.2.9.0 on my A5, but it could gave existed prior this version and I didn't try those titles yet.
Now I am running 1.2.9.2 but the problem still remains.
Up until now this happens with:
- Blade Runner 2049 (2017) in its UHD full BD BDMV version
- Fury (2014) in its UHD full BD ISO version
I cannot get the Atmos track at all. I get silence or more exactly my processor says no audio signal.
They do work on another player.
And the M2TS files work on an OPPO 203.
Of course I tried some of my other Atmos tracks and they work, but I am sure I might come up with more broken titles.
My A5 is connected to an Anthem AVM60 processor.
I tried other cables.
I also tried connecting the A5 straight to my Lumagen Video processor and extract the audio back the AVM60 audio processor, still the same problem.
I of course tried setting the passthrough to On instead of Auto, and also I tried to set the HDMI audio to RAW etc.... but nothing helps.
Some titles work, and some don't.

I would really appreciate some help here.

Thanks

Sorry no one has replied, its quiet on this forum and Futeko seem not to bother either.

I have an A11 so not sure if the A5 is the same. But I had issues with my amp showing no audio signal on some movies with Atmos audio and found turning on the compatability settings in the sound settings solved the issue.

I should have updated my post a long time ago. Rita told me that too and it worked.
I still have the same problem when using Vidon though.
Anyway, thank you.
