All of a sudden I cannot get the q10 to power up completely . When I hit power it starts to turn on but then stops. There is power as I replaced the power supply to make sure . I've tired holding reset and powering up and it won't even do that. Please help, I'm afraid I have a 300 dollar paperweight

Reinstall the firmware. Do you know which version it's installed?
-
Yes i know which firmware. I put the usb stick in and held the reset button with a pin and powered on and it does the same thing. Is there a different way to do it? maybe a recovery mode like android phones?

There's no other way in your case. Are you sure you're doing everything correctly? Have you installed firmware before?

I have installed firmware multiple times. I noticed that the clock had stopped on the display screen so i powered it down by pressing the power button and now this.

Even holding reset while powering up renders the same result.

Try disconnected power supply and connect again, power ON from IR remote or keep little bit longer press power button with your finger.
For clock go to Settings/More Settings/Display and uncheck VFD clock on / off.

Device will not respond to remote.

You when you try to install the firmware what do you see in the TV? Does your flash drive have a led? Does it blink when the box boots?
-
Absolutely nothing happens but what I showed in the video. Nothing on the screen and the USB stick never blinks. I'm pretty sure it's dead.also, turns out it's an a400, I've just been coming here so long for firmware I forgot it wasn't a q10.

As a last resort try this: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1622.msg14469#msg14469
Presuming you were running an Android 7 firmware when the box stopped working use the update.zip from firmware 2.0.1.

I've already arranged a replacement. Thanks guys
