4k videos stutter and pause randomly, all gigabit network hardwired
any tips?

Should be OK. Can you post mediainfo for the files that won't play?

bad cable from nas to switch, watched maze runner(2018), it had one tiny stutter, when i tried the other day it was unwatchable
