Title: Can't mirror. Need help.

Hi everybody.

I am trying to use my android smart phone and mirror it to my H8.

Please advice.

What phone brand / model? It's very different across different phones.

There's an app on the H8 called 'Happycast'. Run that to enable miracast/airplay.

Hi, thanks for the response.

I have an Xperia M.

Happy cast couldn't even play the instruction video, so I deleted it. (Though I installed along all other apps that didn't work).


PS: I would also like a remote control with touchpad, left n right click, and keyboard.

Could you please tell me if there any setup I need to to do the H8 or Happy Cast to Mirror from my Xperia M?
Is there something I should do? Lan, port or network?

Both H8 and your phone should be on the same local network.

Your Xperia needs to be capable of Miracast ( so Android 4.2 or later - I only mention this because GSMArena says some Xperia M are Android 4.1).

Apart from that it should work. Your phone should see the H8 when scanning for Miracast devices.

I can't provide more specific help for the Xperia M because we don't have one here.

Yes my Xperia M has a 4.3 Android Version.

But how can my Xperia smartphone Scan for Miracast devices?
Don't I need an app to install to my Xperia Smartphone?

Tried so many and none worked. Also tried to find Happy cast on Google Store but there is none.

Not totally sure on an Experia.

Using Android 5.1 on a Galaxy S3 it's Settings - Display & lights - Cast screen.
