I want to buy a copy of VidOn XBMC Pro

Official VidOn XBMC Pro not support this SoC, you will spend money for get nothing.

VidOn XBMC Pro from Egreat device is custom version for Egreat witch have hardware protection, will not pass BD menu in HiMedia device.
BTW because of  hardware protection is not open source so are black listed pn Kodi forum.

So would be this Egreat version of Vidon also fully functional on HiMedia Pro devices (except from BD menu) as they're based on the the same SOC?

Look like they not accept new registration users witch is quite fairly because they offer all most nothing for others device then their owns device.
VidOn Membership cost is $3.99/Monthly,  $39.99/Yearly, $99.99/Lifetime, witch is was always to too much for what they offer.

Good thing is for Egreat Company witch are learning from past mistaken and now they included on device cost a custom version of VidOn XBMC Pro for Egreat A5/A8/A9/A10/A11/etc licensed until 2035.

Very similar.

Egreat A10/A11 have better quality PSU and internal cabling which makes a marginal positive difference.

In general, the HiSilicon based products (Egreat/HiMedia) have superior image quality to all other Android chipsets and are similar in quality to top-line Blu-Ray players from OPPO etc.
