HiMedia H8

How do I move an APP to the "home menu" or even remove one from the home menu and replace it with another?
I'm new to Android devices.

You can add apps to the home screen by selecting the + icon at the bottom left of the home screen. You'll then be taken to a list of installed apps where you can choose which ones you want to add / remove.

Only the bottom bar of apps is customisable. The main tiles are not.

If you want more customisability then you can replace the 'launcher' (the name for the home screen app). Go into Play Store and search for launcher, there are loads.
