Title: Sharing internal HDD via UPnP - how?
Post by: Ellah on April 19, 2018, 11:16:42 AM
Hi,

I just tried to reach any of my music files from another WIFI radio and can't make it to work... The device is rocognized (Himedia) on the radio, but then no files is visible (shared?).

I tried to play with some settings on Q10 Pro, change default storage settings to sda or sda1, but it does not make any difference, no files are visible on another device.

Using Android 7 , firmware 2.0.7.

Has anyone was successfull in running internal HDD of Q10Pro as UPNP shared server over local network?

Thannks,, but it does not :(

Samba is working fine, I can see and have access from my PC with no issues.

Only this useless Upnp - which is bullshit from Himedia - why they are advertising this as a feature why it does not work at all ?!?!ARRGGHHH

This is Android player, UPnP  read files only from standard Android storage(/sdcard).
Try [PATCH] Mount storage by UUID / Label with option 2, contend of  sda1 will be list on UPnP  server.

thanks for advice.

I tried this, installed using version 1.7 - no luck and as additional effect some files from my library are not being played correctly, which is strange...

So uninstalled it and the same files (movies) are being played with no issues.

Any other ideas how to share internal hdd within same network?
