Title: NO SERVER

hello .. I have a problem with LAN ..when i  try to connect the network, to folders from my laptop,  sometimes tells me NO SERVER and fail to connect at all.
 internet works everything is ok! it seems like it's a software issue ...

What app are you using (e.g. Himedia Media Centre, Kodi)? What protocol (e.g. Windows/Samba, NFS, uPnP)?

It sounds like a network problem, not necessarily a problem with the Q10.

I'd try test testing other apps like ES File Explorer to see if you get stable network access. If you do then it's a problem with the app you're using to access the media.

Hello.. I use media center samba!i tested Internet connection is very ok.. I have 1Gb internet and router same.. Tp link! The problem is not from
My network because when i recevie this message NO SERVER , my pc seen the folder i share and folders from himedia

after instalation said google play is stop!! and...the same... NO SERVER!!

ok...i try everything with my all device from my home...is not a problem with network is problem with Himedia Q10 or software...i hope futeko resolve soon the problem thanks
i am very dissapointed ..two problems majors with this device....freeze logo and LAN :(

What software were you reinstalling?

Have you tried accessing the share using ES File Explorer? This will determine whether it's a hardware problem or a software problem with the app you're using to access the share.

I reinstall firmware 3.0.1 The Last!  I open with media center/ LAN - No server! But i repet... Sometimes see Sometimes not work

It's not a problem that's been widely reported so it's going to difficult improving it in future firmware. We'd need to be able to replicate it.

Why don't you use Kodi instead of Media Centre? It has a much better interface and it will make accessing Samba shares quicker.

I have the same problem with media center when exploring the nas files, says network error: retry or cancel, with kodi no problem at  all.
