Title: A11 Noise Through HDMI

Hey Guys

Does any one get noise through there speakers when just on the main menu of the A11 ?

i have a few other media players and when nothing is playing its silent through the speakers, The A11 is connected to a Denon AVR-X6300H.

The noise stops when a file starts playing.

via what type of audio connection? HDMI?

yes through the HDMI

its really strange, never had noise like this on any of my devices before.
i have tried various HDMI cables but its still the same

I've not heard of HDMI noise before, and it seems impossible that it is being transmitted via the HDMI cable because it is a digital signal, but there are references to similar online. e.g.

Try if possible plugging the A11 into a different wall power socket.
