Title: Q5 4K3D 5-DEC-2014 FIRMWARE. HMD-1.0.7.

THIS FIRMWARE IS FOR EUROPEAN Q5 4K3D (MANUFACTURED AFTER OCTOBER 2014) ONLY. DO NOT TRY AND FLASH IT TO OTHER REGION Q5 4K3D OR Q10 4K3D.

HMD-1.0.7 2014-12-05 FUTEKO EN. Changleog:

1. Progressive bug fix
2. 3D button not go to Chinese APK
3. Support Google Play Store

HMD-1.0.6 2014-11-12.133150. Changelog:

1. Fix Youtube.

HMD-1.0.6 2014-11-06.161. Changelog:

1. Change the ICON of BoxSetting
2. Fix the issue that cannot change TIME ZONE/LANGUAGE/INPUT METHOD
3. Delete the chinese weblinks in the Browser

Installation Instructions:

1. Copy update.zip to the root of a USB pen drive.
2. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of the Q5 4K.
3. With the Q5 4K turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole restore button on the side of the Q5 4K (next to the USB ports).
4. While keeping the restore button pressed, turn on the Q5 4K.
5. The Q5 4K will show an Android droid logo and proceed to upgrade the firmware.
6. The box will auto-reboot when finished.

Same reply as in other thread:

I don't think it's possible. The Chinese version of the Q5 / Q10 4K use different internal hardware.

Chinese firmware shouldn't be installed on European Q5 / Q10 and vice versa.

I replied to your email a few days ago so hopefully you've got it working now.

The update definitely works, just extract update.zip from the archive to a USB pen drive.

just received from you yesterday my new Q5 4K3D device. I found build number as follows : HMD-1.0.7 2014-11-25.114531. Do i need to update with 5 dec 2014 firmware too ?.
Then i would like to know if any chance to change default browser, frankly speaking is very ugly :-\.
