Hello,
I used to play FLAC on my amp through spdif at 96khz or 192khz while I was using the original firmware with Android 5.1.
The player was Kodi or Himedia music player.
But recently my Hires files are always played at 48khz. I don't know if there is a link with the fact I've upgraded to the last recent firmware and to Android 7 ( HMD-2.0.7 2018-01-12 firmware.). Actually I didn't noticed instantly the files are played only at 48khz...
I've tried both options for spdif output : LPCM or RAW. Nothing changes.
In RAW setup I can still control the volume with the Q10PRo... Looks like the device is just forced to LPCM whatever I choose in the option menu.
I've tried to change to custom firmware update_Q10Pro_(update&themed&Kodi17.6)-HMD-2.0.7 2018-01-12.113104: same result.
I've also tried both SPDIF output (coax and optical): always blocked at 48khz
I'm thinking to send back my device to Futeko, unsing the warranty...
Any idea what's wrong and how to solve?

ALL android player ouput audio file at PCM 48 hz - 16 bit. Only nvidia shield and ziddo x9s can output at 192 hz with only 16 BIT with some proplem!
Android player is not good device for HI-FI audio.

hz? You mean kHz? It also stands that it will convert 44.1kHz/24bit to 48kHZ/16bit on the DAC/analogue outputs as well? So the "conversion" is always unavoidable? (Wast majority of FLAC files are in 44.1kHz/16bit format).
Even "Hi-Fi" Android apps like HibyMusic can't help to resolve this, no matter what playback app will I use?
What's the cause of this limitation anyway? Almost any main Linux distro can do "bit-perfect" playback (as far as i know), so what's the matter with Android?
(I have heard regarding this "issue" previously, I just like to to be more informed how it "doesn't work as it should"...)

Media Center player does pass through lossless Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD MA as well as DTS 96/24 to an AVR via HDMI.
This is not affected by any Andoid limitations.
