Can the A8 decode the .flac audio files as PCM audio . .Thanks

 . the reason I wanted to know this is i want to transfer my cds to hard drive and i was told  this is the best way to do it with no lost of sound Q. I see  you are saying multi- Channel which I do not need for cds   is what you say above still the same instructions  though for cds ?

For CDs it doesn't matter what the settings are, you'll get 2-channel PCM.

I would agree that FLAC is the best way to rip CDs. It's lossless giving a perfect copy. Rip at 16bit 44kHz as this is the same as CD (any higher being pointless). This is generally regarded as the best ripper for Windows: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/
