I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Just got the Q10 and can not for the life of me figure out how to delete files using the supplied remote. I hit menu and then the delete. New screen pops up showing a files list with the one to be deleted checked. I confirm delete and another pop up tells me it will delete in back ground. Finally an other pop up saying delete failed. Any ideas?

Where are the files located?

The method you are using is correct. The difference when I do it is that at the end I get a message saying 'Delete success'.
What files? What sort of storage device? How is it attached to Q10 Pro?

Thanks for getting back to me. The files are videos of various types located on my 2TB internally installed Hard Drived using ntfs formatting. The drive was moved over from an older KDlink HD720 system Iused to use. Files are mostly downloaded TV .

You're doing everything correctly. There's probably something with the hard disk file system, try running a check disk connecting the Q10 to your PC with a printer cable or connecting the hard disk directly.

The drive was moved over from an older KDlink HD720 system...
That could be your problem? If I were taking a disk from one box and putting it into a different box I would want to reformat it?

;) Yes As you expected. I replaced the hard drive with one that was reformatted and all is as it should be. Thanks so much for all of your help.
