Title: Kodi 18 the latest test versions not run on Q10

You do not know what is happening with the latest Kodi 18 versions?To this day, no problem I installed it on Q10,but now after installing the latest version of the program does not start...

It is not in beta for nothing. What does Kodi 18 have that Kodi 17 does not have? I found Kodi 17.4 and newer to be very stable and it is meeting all my needs. I installed a beta of Kodi 18 on my PC to test a Netflix addon that takes advantage of a new feature introduced only in Kodi 18. You should better ask the Kodi team in their forum, you have very little chances of finding out why in these forums.

Did you run on CFW?
For me kodi-20180106-e03aad66-master-armeabi-v7a is was running.
Kodi Team still changing way how detect passthrough capability some night build crash on CFW when Kodi run this process.

Yes. There is a bug in the latest nightlies which affects  some devices  :o. The app stalls on the splash screen.

The latest working nightly build for the Q10 is from 9th Jan (kodi-20180109-0c21beb7-master-armeabi-v7a). You can download this one from the Kodi web site and install it over the bugged versions.

The Kodi Team are "working on it" .

***UPDATE***: Today's build "kodi-20180113-acedd16a-master-armeabi-v7a" is working. Team Kodi appears to have solved the bug ... for now!

I have already found a working version of 18 alpha 1.  I like to experiment so every few days I install a new version :).
Today there is a new Kodi 18 version and the file weight is 132 MB... :) :)

Wow! 132 Mb when previous versions were only 83 Mb  :o!

But, I've installed it on both my HiMedia Q10 and my Samsung Tab S3. It works well on both!

The increase in file size appears to be due to loads more games add-on's to the Kodi Add-on Repository by Libretro???
