Title: M3 4K3D. 18-SEP-2015. FIRMWARE HMD-3.0.1.1 FUTEKO-EN

M3 4K3D. 18-SEP-2015. FIRMWARE HMD-3.0.1.1 FUTEKO-EN

Installation Instructions:

1. Copy update.zip to the root of a USB pen drive.
2. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of the M3 4K3D.
3. With the M3 4K3D turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole restore button on the side of the M3 4K (next to the blue USB port).
4. While keeping the restore button pressed, turn on the M3 4K3D.
5. The M3 4K3D will show an Android droid logo and proceed to upgrade the firmware.
6. The box will auto-reboot when finished.

M3 4K3D. 18-SEP-2015. FIRMWARE HMD-3.0.1.1 FUTEKO-EN. Changelog:

1. Fix DTS audio dropouts.
2. New media center.
3. Kodi 15.0.
4. New Youtube. Smoother video.
5. Supports changing default storage.
6. Restore Miracast functionality (the only change 3.0.1.1 vs 3.0.1)

No 1080p gui fix in kodi?
How about trakt addon fix?

I don't honestly know. Himedia are not great for detailed changelogs. Please test and report back..

For me, the new firmware didnt change a lot.
Gui in kodi is still no 1920x1080
Trakt also still doesnt work

Hi there, may I know if I can use this firmware for non-european machine?
Or how can I check if the firmware can be used on my machine.

For Q5/Q10 the answer would be definitely no.

I'm not 100% sure for M3 (although I think probably not) so I'll find out from Himedia and report back here tomorrow morning.

Modified opening post to add download link for 3.0.1.1.

The only difference in the new firmware vs 3.0.1 is that it adds back the Miracast app and Miracast functionality.
