1. Extract update.zip (using an unzip program like 7zip, winzip etc) from the downloaded archive to the root of a FAT32 formatted USB pen drive. (the USB pen drive should contain a single file called 'update.zip'). Note, there is no need to rename anything!
2. Insert the USB pen drive into any USB port of Q5 Pro.
3. With Q5 Pro turned off, use a paper clip or pen to press and hold the the pinhole RESTORE button on the back of Q5 Pro (next to the power port).
4. While keeping the RESTORE button pressed, turn on the Q5 Pro.
5. Q5 Pro will show the Android 7 coloured circle logo).
6. When you see the circle logo you can release the restore button.
7. A progress bar will indicate update progress. Do not turn box off or use the box/remote during update!
8. When update is complete the box will automatically reboot.
9. First boot will take 3-5 minutes. The box will reboot into new Android 7 firmware. Allow boot to complete.

OTA update or not

Download link added!

This update package seems to be corrupt or something :-\
Tried to update from 2.0.4 and 2.0.5, no chance! Update progress stopped immediately (with reclining android man) and reboots.
Meanwhile I will go back to 5.1 and FW 1.1 ::)

There have been hundreds of downloads and we've installed 2.0.6 many times ourselves. The update package is fine. Please re-try.

Having some trouble with MediaCenter. When I try and create a shortcut under LAN I get "Query is Error" then Loading just keeps trying.
I have SMB turned on.
Have not changed anything on my network.
Firmware 1.1.0 worked fine, and I have a Q5 on the network also working fine.
The PC is a windows 10 box with Fall Creators Update.

Tried it without luck. I think the Win 10 FCU SMB is not the issue, current Q5 works fine and Previous Q5 Pro firmware on Android 5 worked fine too.
I should also add, Q5 Pro can see the internet fine, play store ran updates, and Chrome can browse the web.
Any other suggestions?

Despite all the latest updates i turned back to a stable 2.01. Since 2.03 and even more in 2.05 i experienced system IU errors, multiple freezes and apps like Kodi or Chrome browser stop without warning and not been able to start them back up. A hard reset was the only option left. I've tried to upgrade again to 2.03 but the errors came back and now i'm running 2.01 again without any problems. :(

Imprex still flickering + 3d mkv's weren't working correctly for me... this is getting worse and worse.
